See Blog: Surviving a Cocktail Party through Stereo Imaging

First Mono, difficult to discern pieces of the conversation, then stereo.
This is the full unadulterated original recording of Patricia Barber´s "Light My Fire"
This is the same piece with everything below 120Hz missing. If you don´t notice the lack of warmth and completeness in the music, you might want to get a new stereo.
The next version is the opposite: everything above 120 Hz is missing. You will notice that there is lot´s of musical information that you are missing on a loudspeaker that is too small.
Here is a version that cuts everything below 42 Hz, this is the lowest frequency a loudspeaker like the SoundSommeliers can express. Even on Sound System that goes far below 42 Hz, you will be hard pressed to notice much of a difference. Why? Because there simply isn´t much there below 42Hz in "real" music.
So what is there: The sample below is everything below 42Hz. Can´t hear anything? Well there isn´t much. Just very little. For those running a subwoofer, feel free to turn things up.
